From the Principal's Desk
Welcome to the Fellowship Mission School. I congratulate you for the choice you have made for this school for the education of your ward . It is an honor and privilege to be the principal of FMS, the school that stands for excellence and continuously sets the highest standards. The school is not new to me. It has been my raison d”etre for the last 15 years .This period has been a journey of great learning for me. As they say “one who dares to teach must never cease to learn. The importance of education in life of an individual cannot be overstated. It shapes individuals in their formative years and imbibes them with values that govern all their choices in life. It is said “if you are planning for a year, sow rice; if you are planning for a decade, plant trees,; if you are planning for a life time, educate people. Our school is an educational community to imparting holistic education, enabling young minds to realize their true potential and to take their rightful place in society. We at Fellowship Mission School, believe that education must provide such and challenging environment for the individual to explore, in his/her own way. The pursuit of excellence has been the hallmark of the school since its inception. The school was founded on the values of integrity and discipline and will continue to be our key guarding principal. The staff at Fellowship Mission School is a closely knit fraternity of co creators in the process of education . It is their constant endeavor to build empathy, social and environmental awareness, responsibility and leadership in our students along with respect to the country, so that they may embrace and celebrate diversity and change in an increasingly complex world. The concept of wisdom comprise of knowledge, skills, truth and compassion. The aim of education at fellowship mission school is to equip our students with these tools and point out the road of wisdom, so they according to their ability, together with acquired life experience, will be able to fulfill their dreams and reach their goals.
Last year at fellowship mission school by any measure has been eventful, challenging and memorable which kept us on our toes throughout. We discovered the virtues of perseverance. dignity, servitude of mankind and the spirit of success. Over the years in this school, I have witnessed in our students an unparalleled knowledge base, a vibrant dynamism an acute consciousness about the world around them, a focused ambition and a sustained commitment. I am also fortunate to have an experienced committee team which has brought the school to its present stature. My aim is not only to be an administrator, but also to be a friend, philosopher and guide to the students on whom they can count on and trust at all times. I assure you that my doors will always be open to the students and their parents for any suggestions and guidance. Working as the principal of this institution was a matter of great pleasure and honor for each one of us. We understood that thinking, planning and decisions are better taken when done cooperatively. We realized that none of us is as good as all of us. My sincere thanks to our chairman Dr. K.C John and director Dr. Sam John for their immense support and encouragement and valuable guidance.
With kind regards,
Mercy Nelson, Principal
